Classic Trail to Everest

Classic trail to Everest is a typical and original journey to Everest Base Camp via Jiri which is the authentic way to enter into Solukhumbu region explored by the early explorers long before the flight started from / to Lukla. Comparatively less popular than opting the flight to Lukla, Jiri to Everest base camp trekking lets you take the bus drive to Shivalaya first and the trekking begins from there.

Rarely visited by the trekkers, this classic trail leading to Everest base camp is mostly used by the porters and the load carrying animals. More time consuming than any other normal trekking in Everest region, Classic trail to Everest however is loved by all other Everest fanatics who wish to explore more in the Solukhumbu or Lower Khumbu region. It is also recommended to those who hates flying to Lukla because of the uncertainty of the flight time. More importantly, classic trekking to Everest can be done anytime of the year except during very cold times in winter.
