Manaslu Tsum valley trekking takes you to one of the least explored regions in the hidden corners of Mid-West Himalaya. A fascinating journey towards Tsum valley goes from warm sub-tropical lower Gorkha district to the arctic zone of mountains with impressive traditional villages where Buddhist and ancient Bon culture is a way of life. Whereas this route is at close distance from Tibet border.
Tsum as in Tibetan, “Beyul Kyimolung” means “Valley of Happiness”. Hence we will be exploring the mesmerizing region of Manaslu and also the hidden valley of Tsum. Tsum valley trekking, north east of Manaslu ‘The mountain of spirit’, was first opened in 2008 and has been popular since. In Manaslu region, the Tsumbas of Tibetan origin speak different dialect and they still trade with the North. The whole route is rich in typical ancient cultures and traditions. Combining Tsum valley with the Manaslu circuit region provides an entirely different and unique experience.
