Upper Mustang Trekking is an overwhelming adventure to one of the most photogenic places in the Himalayan region of Nepal, the land with colorful hills and cliffs of red earth. To trek in Upper Mustang is itself a rare privilege.You will see the way of life which has remained still and same for the centuries.
Once a forbidden kingdom which is now easily accessible via trekking or vehicles, the journey to Upper Mustang starts once getting to the headquarter of Mustang region which is Jomsom. Geographically similar to Tibetan plateau, the trip begins through Kali Gandaki river passing many interesting villages like Kagbeni, Chele, Chusang, Charang and ultimately reaching the fort walled village of Lo Manthang. Trekking to Upper Mustang ends with getting back to Jomsom and flying or driving back to Kathmandu.
