Rock climbing in Nepal is a challenging sport in Nepal in which the participants either climb up the natural rock formations or man-made rock walls. Obviously, the main goal is to reach the top of the rock formation using the hands and rope on the pre-defined route. The trip to these places can be combined with bird watching, hiking, nature tours and other adventure sports.
Rock climbing is a very tough sport, both physically and mentally testing the climber’s strength, endurance and balance. Therefore, a proper climbing knowledge and the know-how of using the equipment is necessary. The advantages to the rock climbing in Nepal are many and it has attracted to a lot of young and even the older generations. The physical benefits like strong body parts and endurance whereas mental benefits like determination, goal setting, planning and decision making comes out with the long practice.
