Ruby Valley lies in the Nepal’s north central region. Though most of the journey lies in the lower altitude, some of the passes and the lakes lie in the alpine region. The trek to Ruby valley begins from Syabrubesi and goes through the Tamang Heritage trail. Pangsang La pass (3900m) is a wonderful place on the trek, which offers the incredible views of the Himalayas, green forests, meadows and the hilly gorges. On the way back, you take a different route via Shertung, Jharlang and Darkha. From the district centre of Dhading you drive back to Kathmandu.
